I was inspired to use a drop cloth for this photoshoot from a Vogue Fashion photoshoot I saw and another photographer, Marina Williams. The model suggested to shoot at Inmann Park, which was such a great idea because it was super quiet and open.
The drop cloth is such a outlandish/ out of the box concept, yet produces great results. It adds a lot of different elements to make the images more interesting. I didn’t want too much of the background of the park to be included, so I added an extra layer of drop cloth and for images I wanted the park to be more exposed, I didn’t use the extra layer.
This shoot was fun to do and to amazing to see my vision come to life. I don’t usually shoot outside so this was great to do. Not to mention tested me as a photographer with having to work with many different factors. Also, this shoot was done with an all women team!
